The Suikerfeest

In 2010 NTVF produced a festive show celebrating the 'Suikerfeest' (Eid Ul-Fitr, the Islamic festival at the end of the Ramadan) on the Dutch television.

The Ramadan ended on Friday, september 10th, this year. And after 30 days the sunset marked the end of the fast, one of the most exuberant events in the Islamic world. Traditionally this is celebrated with family visits and a banquet with friends and family. The celebration's motto is: ‘sweet food, sweet talk’.
